Welcome to MilAirComms.Com!
Welcome! Many of you know me as the webmaster of RadiosOnLine.
It is my hope to move all the valuable information from RadiosOnLine to this website. During the move I'll be
updating much of the infomation.
Since my primary interest in the hobby of Radio Listening is MilAir this website will have a strong emphasis on that
aspect of our hobby. Besides MilAir info and freqs, you'll also find many Military HF information as well as
Pirate and Utility comms. For the Shortwave listener I'll be posting information, schedules and frequencies
of SWL Broadcasters of interest during time of war or conflict.
Without CW its Just CB - Want Proof? Just look at 2 meters!
98% of my ham time is now on CW. With the addition of my 160 meter antenna I have enjoyed the top band during this
winter season. See you on HF-CW or one of the Satellites (FO-29 being my favorite).
If you would like to learn more about me, see a picture of my station, please

SuperBowl 2005 Combat Air Patrol Mission Comms On Line!
On 2/5/2005 the Super Bowl was played in Jacksonville, FL,
95 miles to the North of my location.
By being nearly 100 miles away there still were a lot of Military Comms to hear. I've broken up the entire monitoring session into 5 different files. ALL
monitoring was received on an AntennaWarehouse ScanTenna by far the best Omni-Directional
scanning antenna money can buy! What you will hear are NORAD F16's, F15's and NAVY P3 aircraft chasing aircraft out of the restricted airspace around the
Jacksonville area. Also heard are mid-air refueling operations being conducted in support of this Combat Air Patrol (CAP) mission. All aircraft
heard are loaded with weapons and ready to shoot down any aircraft which they feel is a threat.

Exercise or was the USS Gettysburg Under Attack?
May 25, 2004 I snagged this comm on 282.2000 which is a USCG/USAF Search & Rescue freq.
Unfortunately I was moving computer around in the shack and couldn't record the entire operation.
The transmission mentioned something about a Kilo Class Submarine. Next mention was referencing
ASW aircraft. Few minutes later heard another station callsign EchoZulo. lat/long given were 26-00N, 56-49E.
Attentions are "PPRSUW6". Other callsign heard were Gettysburg and XrayZulo. Also mention made of
"unknown Iranian surface units". Gettysburg was the callsign giving the above info. Proud Warrior
was to launch.
