Major World Air Route Area - North Atlantic Area
Above is a map of the North America/North Atlantic MWARA. This area is broken up into 6 different
sub-areas known as "Families". These areas are called NAT-A, NAT-B, NAT-C, NAT-D, NAT-E, and NAT-F.
Military enroute to Middle East have been heard on the NAT-E set of frequencies. During the last
Gulf War the NAT-E area was establised as a corridor used by USAF traffic during the Gulf War.
